SAS Parent University: 21st Century Learning

This presentation was part of a School Parent University program that offered families in our community a chance to better understand our school, their children’s education, and the work that we do each and everyday.  Its purpose was to provide families with an introduction to the idea of 21st century learning and the impact an increasingly connected, digital, and global world has on students, schools, and learning.

This PowerPoint is a brief presentation that followed a formal written proposal for a mobile learning pilot project that proposed a 1:1 learning environment in a primary classroom.  The presentation strives to present five ways that a 1:1 iPad learning environment would be a transformative practice for teaching and learning.

SAS Parent University: Digital Citizenship

This presentation was part of a School Parent University program that offered families in our community a chance to better understand our school, their children’s education, and the work that we do each and everyday.  Its purpose was to provide families with some information, ideas, and strategies for helping their children become responsible, safe, moral, and ethical digital citizens.
